This came from a resolution generator. (Note: I am not responsible for the punctuation.) It's the first one that came up for me. No, I'm still not writing resolutions for 2013, but I know some of you made a promise to yourselves to start a blog this year.
Anybody hit publish yet? Feel free to post a link in the comments section.
If you want to blog and you haven't, what's holding you back?
I started my current blog a year ago by publishing my resolutions for 2012: http://blog.superflippy.net/2011/12/new-years-resolutions.html I didn't manage to keep all the resolutions (heck, I don't think I even managed to keep most of them - there were too many!), but I did manage to keep my blog going for a whole year.
ReplyDeleteA large part of my blogging success is thanks to the 2 BlogHer NaBloPoMo's I participated in, which gave me new ideas and got me blogging again when I'd started to slack. And, of course, those helped me find new bloggers to read, like you!
NaBloPoMo has given me a kick in the butt too, Susanna. I committed to 4, and finished 3. I'm OK with that. I will probably do 4 again this year too.
DeleteKeep blogging!
I found you through NaBloPoMo, as well. I started daily posts in Nov. 2011 and am still going strong, having missed only a handful of days between then and now. Last year the resolution generator said I was going to jog. HAH! That didn't happen. I'm recommitting to health and fitness, though ... better late than never.
ReplyDeleteBravo for you! That's quite a commitment.
DeleteYeah, I clicked a few more times on that generator and I thought most of them were good general resolutions. The one that said I'd run a marathon though ..... ha! ha! Not a chance.
